This restaurant continues to amaze me. Great authentic Mexican food, presented in a very innovative way. The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy with friends and family member; not only in the summer but also in the winter since they have heated pods that seat up to 8 people rather comfortably.

Tried Bien Trucha - needed a quick place to eat lunch during my work day. Pretty good! I got the carnitas tacos - a full order which was 4 tacos, for $18. I asked for no cilantro or onions. Tacos came with avocado type sauce which was pretty good! Meat was fresh and reasonably generous. Overall enjoyed my tacos! Would recommend and will likely go back at some point to try other stuff. Parking is free in front of the restaurant.

All in all - a good taco place in Geneva. Had heard about it for years and finally tried it last weekend. It's a very small place - I would say ~35 people can be in the dining room and on busy weekend nights - they open BTK Dining room next door. It was a tad confusing on the website what the difference in dining rooms were. They then have the huts outside somewhere - for more space. Our drinks were delicious - I got the Pepino spicy and my husband had the regular margarita. For food - we started with the shrimp fundido and then got half orders of the Octopus, Diablo, and Bien Trucha tacos. Our fave was the octopus. I thought the shrimp in the diablo was overcooked. All the food was good - actually quite good...but not worth the drive from DG for it. Numerous other taco places in DG for us to go to. BUT - if you're in Geneva - it's got great drinks and good tacos.

We just love this little gem in Geneva! The igloo's in the winter are so fun! The food is always fresh and delicious! And the avacado margaritas, I've never had them anywhere and they are just amazing! The staff is always helpful and kind. My favorite tacos are the pulpo!

Oh my goodness, we've been to this spot a few times, and it's always a delightful experience! The shrimp tacos? Hands down, the best I've ever tasted! I can't recommend them enough. The shrimp is perfectly crunchy, paired with a scrumptious sauce, and the beets on top add such a fun and unique twist. We loved them so much that we ordered more after finishing our first three half-orders of tacos! The plates are on the smaller side, which I actually love because it lets you mix and match with half or full-sized orders to explore all the different flavors. We've also tried a variety of dips and drinks here, and every single thing has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is super attentive, and our dishes always come out lightning fast. A must-visit spot for sure!

Great taco spot for Geneva! They have such a cute patio. We started with the tilapia ceviche. It was my first time have ceviche with tilapia. They paired it with a mango salsa. It was okay- the texture was throwing me off. I ate the whole thing but, I wouldn't order it again. All the tacos were great, my favorite were the fish tacos. It had a ton of flavor. I would definitely come back. I would love to try their breakfast menu.

We received a gift card for this little gem and was not disappointed. We ordered drinks, a margarita and Pacifica beer. We started with the trio salsa appetizer, no longer on the menu. The salsas were fresh and spicy. We each ordered taco, the Bein Trucha and Carnitas, The carne asada were so good and covered with roasted serrano salsa. The pork shoulder was tender and so well done. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside on a hot, humid night and the indoor is intimate with cushioned benches. The service was excellent. Our waiter offered suggestions. A delicious Mexican restaurant in Geneva.

Weird little space--was it once a residence? A hot dog stand? No one knows, but the tacos are impeccable and they have an avocado margarita (ahuacatl) which is hard to find. This is the same restaurant group as A Toda Madre in Glen Ellyn. Our one beef: stop the 3% hidden fee nonsense. In the state of Illinois restaurants can use that extra money for whatever they want.
